Condition of narrow residential streets?

For those of you who live on/near narrow side streets, have they all been cleared? That seems to be the main driver of day-after-a-storm school delays.

Mine had a plow come through, but it didn’t make a dent on the packed ice from cars driving on it previously. I’m thinking we’ll need a delay, especially with refreeze.

We have had no plow, but the streets are completely clear. This is why living with county-wide school districts frustrates me - our school alone would have no reason, at all, for even a delay tomorrow.

We were salted yesterday and then plowed very early this morning. Road is completely clear (Rockville)

Far Clarksburg in the hills. No plows have come but we are always forgotten so we all have 4WD and snowmobiles and ATV’s. I take Lewisdale, Prices Distillery, Burnt Hill and Kingsley to get to Snowden Farm for anything so it is not good for us country folk. Clarksburg Rd. Is treacherous.

Cleared but still slushy and icy. Big problem is MCPS has a 2 mile rule for walking for high school and we don't have a lot of sidewalks so it's really unsafe.

Nice way to say we are rich... snowmobiles and ATV's...so, you can easily get your kids to school, no excuses.

Mine in North Bethesda is completely iced over.

Would be nice if people would clear their sidewalks and salted. I almost fell twice! My kids won't be able to walk safely to their bus stop. It's all ice now. Upcounty.
