Peloton people

Just wanted to pop in and say Adrian's new glutes and legs program is really great (and really hard). I have made significant gains (I'm just a middle aged woman though not some tough guy!). I'm doing it WITH Tunde's arms. I started both on a whim a couple weeks ago to get everything toned up for a wedding I'm attending at the end of the month and omg, I'm doing way more than toning accidentally. Highly recommend!

Is it the same class you take every week? Sounds boring

No, it isn't the same one.

I'm not familiar - is this on the bike, or one of their non-bike workouts?

Nice job on sticking with it! Must feel so great to see results.

Strength workout! I’ve been doing it on the guide but I would assume it’s available through the app too

I made a post about this on Reddit. I started it because I’d read so much about it and I think I’m disappointed even though I love Adrian. I enjoy lifting heavy weights but I prefer to have more rest between sets when I’m holding a lot of weight. This program reminds me of the BeachBody program Body Beast that I probably did about 10 years that I never finished because I hated leg day so much lol. We’ll see how far I get with it.

FWIW, I really like RK’s 5-day split where you lift heavy AND get plenty of rest between sets. Plus, it’s a full body program.

Are you also working your chest and back? If so, are you just choosing random workouts to fill in the gaps?

I liked Adrian’s program but as he mentioned throughout the program - it was my grip that failed more quickly than my legs. I tried straps, gloves, mobility - but I just couldn’t hold 40s or whatever I needed to actually reach failure in the reps. It was my own limitation of course, not knocking his training.

I’ve done the majority of the programs and the best results I’ve seen by FAR were from Andy’s TS2. I was stronger, more athletic, toned and recovered more quickly by the end. I’m about to do it a second time!

Also I love RK but didn’t love the way her split is set up. Great training, but division of muscle groups in the classes didn’t work for me. Her classes are generally awesome though.

Congrats on finishing!

I’ll try Andy’s next!

To the other pp asking about arms/chest/back I’m also doing Tunde’s arms challenge and that is plenty for now I’ve already had to scale back my normal cardio by a lot to be ready for the next set of classes

I know you’re just being snarky but for the benefit of other people who might be reading this it’s a four week program with different classes every week designed for you to see growth over the length of the program

I’m not being snarky. I thought the splits were 3-5 classes that you watch over and over each week to see how you improve in weight or reps.

This is not part of the splits, this is a new program from Adrian. Sorry people can be kind of weirdly anti peloton here sometimes.

I’ve been meaning to try it. Great to hear how much you like it! I tried Andy’s Density program and had a hard time sticking with it. I don’t know what it was but I couldn’t finish it.

Thanks for recommending! I second the recommendation for Andy Speer TS workouts. They’re really good.

I’m excited to try Adrian’s program next! I’m about to start week 3 of Rebecca’s. I’m enjoying lifting heavy but also appreciate classes that are a bit faster paced. Rebecca and Adrian are my favorites!
