Do your kids scream/yell when playing games online?

My DS is playing Xbox with friends online. He screams and yells while playing. It’s annoying. Do your kids do the same? I can’t tell because he uses headphones and mic.
Don’t know if I am a grumpy old mom and tell him to be quiet, or if this is normal when kids play online with friends and I should just try and ignore. |

Lots of kids do this. It's super common.
We live in a relatively small space, and when my kids were younger my DH was working shifts and often trying to sleep at that times they were playing, so I set limits on this hard and early. The first time they scream the games go off until tomorrow. I don't set limits when they have friends over and are playing in person. Or, if I can't have the noise, I just say no video games at all. So, I'm voting that it's totally normal, and if you don't like it you can change it. There are other totally normal things that lots of kids do that I don't let my kids do. |

| Yes , my kid does this and so do all of her friends that she plays with. Her brother does it too and he’s not even playing with anyone. I just have them play somewhere away from me and siblings because everyone finds it annoying. |

| Yes, DS 9, who is a typical kid (I mean that he does not have SNs like sibling). He has a competitive streak and gets very intense. We are constantly telling him to quiet down. |
