No, but I stick with brands that have a history of being rated safe (i.e. honda, toyota, lexus)

Interesting. I looked up Suburban and Yukon and they were not on this IIHS list of top safety picks.

I buy cars that I will enjoy driving, either because they have higher performance, are visually appealing to me, or otherwise make the time spent behind the wheel worthwhile. Life is too short and we spend too much time in our cars to sentence yourself to serving time in something you don’t enjoy.
