I think you could also watch any hallmark romance since you already know the plot. Perhaps BBC planet earth, although sometimes it has dramatic music. |

Parenthood? There are 10 seasons but it's also smart so you won't feel like you're wasting your time.
You might find a comedy funny if you're on painkillers (assuming they're working) unless you can't laugh (i.e. it would hurt). Veep cracks me up every time, no matter what kind of mood I'm in. |
