How are the roads in Rockville area?

I know I’m going to be pulverized here because it’s just a dusting, but still…

Thanks!

If you have to ask... stay home.

Several roads are closed due to “multiple collisions” says MoCoShow, so that’s how it is in the general Rockville area.

I think everyone, including the county, was surprised by the snow this morning so I don’t think the roads were treated at all. I don’t think they are great plus drivers around here can’t drive on snow anyways, so even the 1/2 inch is a lot…

Agree with this last post, when they know it's coming you see the trucks out beforehand. I had been checking the forecast regularly and was completely surprised this morning.

Just drove from Kensington to Dulles Airport. The neighborhood streets mostly haven’t seen a plow at all and are pretty dicey. Connecticut Ave was ok, and the Beltway was wet bare pavement. Toll road was fine, too.

VA has done a much better job with the side roads than MD has, in my observation.

My small Rockville street was plowed at around 4 30 and is blacktop. Great job as usual City of Rockville !

So, plowing is not at the county level?
