VA AAU basketball teams

My 7th grade son is interested in trying out for AAU basketball. I know that tryout are coming up.

Could you please share some team names and locations/websites?

St. James has multiple level teams
D1SA - also fields multiple levels
PPA also fields multiple levels (Not VA per se)

Wrong. It's is a new team forming that's affiliated with the Hurricanes- a well established and reputable program. Email them for yourself.

Good list.

There are a few elite teams missing. These are the best of the best. Most of the 15u kids will be on varsity as freshmen.

Takeover, Durant, Loaded,

Next level down is:

DC Premier, Warriors SSB, and Thrill

Next level would be:

VA elite, maybe FOF type teams.

Then I would say Cavs, Fairfax Stars, Nova 94 type teams.

Then the rest would be less competitive than some of the above circuit teams.

You also have chains like PSB and Swarm to look at.
