I find the range of ages of people going gray on the on the other thread to be fascinating. I am curious as to what the typical age and pace for going gray is.
I’m 51 and only have a few silver strands. If you are over 40, what your age and how gray are you? |
55 and 80 percent. You're lucky
52 and about the same. I started going grey at 30 |
62 and maybe 5% gray, mostly at the temples.
45 and probably around 70%, but hard to tell, because I dye the roots every 4 weeks.
But how does the rest of your body look? Why are you so fixated on when people go gray?
53, natural ginger, just a few around my hairline.
40 and a few strands that I yank out. I want to just go gray but the gray ones are so frizzy and have an odd curl pattern.
50 and 5% but very obvious with dark hair
41 and maybe a few strands
43 and maybe 5-8% gray? I have a streak in the front left and a few scattered grays. I don't mind them, even against my dark hair, so I just leave them be.
53 and more than a few, but less than 5%
50. Probably 50 percent at this point.
45 0%. I do get a icy/sand balayage 2x a year. Below shoulder length hair.
46, no gray hair. Neither of my parents grayed until their 60s so I expect it’ll be the same for me.
