primary placental failure

Hi everyone. I had placental failure with both my pregnancies. Both my children are fine but the pregnancies were medically complicated by pre-term labor, low fluid levels, and a declining placenta. Long bedrests for both kids. My second child was delivered by C-section a month early when her placenta was still functional. I am in decent health, no major issues. Tested negative for major autoimmune diseases. Has anyone had anything like this? I want desperately to have a third child, but DH and I are very concerned about the placental failure happening again. Are we crazy for thinking about it?
