Fastest way to dry and style hair

Anonymous
I know there have been many posts on this, but hoping there are any new tools out there to help me out:

I try to workout before work (early) and my hair is always sweaty. I always need to shampoo or at least rinse with conditioner. I have a Dyson hairdryer, but it still takes at least 10-15 minutes to fully dry and style (just with a round brush) my mid-length thick hair.

Is there anything new out there that will help speed up my process? Some magic towel or a new hairdryer that is more powerful than the Dyson?? Thank you.

You think 10-15 minutes is not fast enough? Maybe your hairstylist can thin out some of the bulk.

I have to dry and style and then touch up with a flatiron. 10-15 mins total is not bad at all.

Depending on your hair type, consider trying some products for air drying. Some leave my hair looking a mess, but I finally found one that works. B&B “Don’t Blow It”, (has to be the one fine hair, even though mine isn’t.) I use a wide tooth comb, use this mostly on the ends, shake my head, and go. One minute.

Downside is it takes near an hour to fully dry, but my commute is 40 and with the rest of getting ready, I am good to go once I hit the office or wherever.

Cut your hair shorter.

I have the Shark flex style and can dry/style my hair in eight minutes, not joking. I love that thing!

I got a shorter cut that saves time.

My hair is very fine and dry in 2 minutes. Trust me, you do not want that.

Start by drying it with your fingers, not a brush. Get it 80% dry before adding the round brush. I have crazy thick hair and this works for me.

Do you do anything else after working out?
Ie make breakfast, have coffee, pack lunch? I ask because I find if I let my hair air dry a little bit (or sit in the towel longer) it blow dries much faster. So you could shower, do your other stuff, go and blow dry and it should take a little less time.

Brazilian blowout. My hair airdries as if I blew it out.

Could you workout, commute to work and then blow dry your hair in the locker room at work? Other people would just think you worked out there.

I wear a polished bun about every other day.

Cut it.

I have really long thick hair and the shark flex style dries it so fast. Maybe get a different haircut if you are having trouble getting it done quicker, or dry it more before styling?
