I have found myself to be hosting 3 college kids in addition to 3 adults for a night. No one seems interested in a salad. What can I make at home that goes with pizza.
Pizza will be be ordered and I already got dessert covered. There will be plenty pizza but I rarely get to see these people and want to make sure there is another item. |
| Wings! |
| antipasto, roasted asparagus with parmesan, garlic grilled broccolini, stuffed mushrooms |

Stuffed mushrooms
Air fryer brussel sprouts |

I would do a salad anyway. Maybe just a Caesar. If you’re looking for veggies, you could also do trays of roasted broccoli. Or make a homemade dip (barefoot contessa has good ones) and chop up a bunch of raw veggies.
Agree about wings, garlic bread etc . |

Most people are happy with different types of pizza and maybe some breadsticks with dipping sauce. Don’t overthink it, OP, just pizza is great.

| I would just do a raw veggie tray with dip, maybe wings, and garlic bread or knots. |

I personally love a side salad with pizza. Arugula has been a favorite lately.
Also Hummus and veggie tray Fruit salad Roasted vegetables like broccoli and cauliflower and eggplant if the pizza is fairly plain (roast in separate trays because of different cooking times) |
+1. Especially for the college kids. |
| Grilled peppers zucchini and eggplant with basil dressing. With mini fresh mozzarella balls |
| meatballs in marinara. |
|
Oven roasted broccoli and cauliflower. Toss with olive oil and grated Parmesan cheese and roast for 15-20 minutes.
There’s are a lot of variations out there. My kids love this. |
| fried zucchini |

If you get pizzas with veggies and another with near…why do you need a side?
One night could you do tacos with a toppings bar? |
|
Pizza is a complete meal IMO.
That said, I'd appreciate a side you can eat with your hands. I hate eating something with my hands and then having to grab a fork to eat a salad. Fries or wings or other finger food would probably be fine. |
