CogAT Scores on ParentVue

| Anyone else have a cumulative CogAT score higher than any of the individual component scores? It doesn’t seem to make sense - been waiting for the letter for more context but nothing so far - just have scores via Parent Vue. |

| Yes, the composite score may be higher than the sub scores. It's not an average. |

| Yes this is common. If child does well in multiple areas then the vQn can be higher. They have a special formular that is used |

| Yes, this exact thing happened to my DD. She did pretty well on all 3 subsections but had the highest score on the composite. In a nutshell, the idea is that it's unusual to score pretty well in multiple areas. |
