| Another fail on the livestream for ENCL. Better than Tennessee where there were often no recordings at all, but the amount of glitches for ENCL Florida recordings makes the game unwatchable. Maybe by late May they can get this to work for the North Carolina showcase. |
| Upstreaming 10 to 20 games at one time takes a lot of bandwidth. Not sure if they use cellular or set up some temporary wifi solution. Either way would be tough. |
I’m sure there are technological challenges, but if you can’t do it, then you shouldn’t advertise that you’re doing it. |
| Usually if going Veo, each cam is working individually via 4G SIM for Veo Live unless the field has a solid wifi setup going on. But it can be problematic either way. |
|
The games are all available on demand the next day from https://team1sports.com/ecnl/
It's not reasonable to expect a dozen live streams to be working all at the same time without serious infrastructure like ESPN with satellite trucks covering the game which would cost a lot more money for the teams. But I agree they shouldn't advertise live streams unless they can deliver. The good news is it's watchable the next day. |
| OP here - the livestream was 6-7 minutes behind real time for my daughters game yesterday, but it worked. Hopefully it'll work again today (and the matches will all get played before the thunderstorms roll in.) |
Agreed, those cell towers nearby were never meant for streaming that many games at one time. Trying to get a a fire hyrdrant's worth of data through a straw. |
| I don't know about anybody else, but even the day after the replays aren't that great on HUDL. Some don't even load. |
| Wow, ECNL providing analytics for a team when they can’t even provide a full video for all games to everyone. Clubs like Colorado and Richmond get the full coverage. Do they pay higher fees? |
| You people need to get lives. |
They win. |
Richmond doesn’t win much. |
They've only got 1 girls team currently on pace to go to the national playoffs (05/06s). |
Still better than your club. |
