As recently as 2019 there would be no need for many crime threads. Now it is the leading local issue my miles.

It's a bit much, most people are not victims of crime. Yes crime has risen in DC as it has elsewhere.

I'm not Jeff, but it's politics. People are running on fear of crime and challenging people who they are trying to portray as soft on crime.

Remember Jack Evans and his "crime crime crime" napkin from 2021? It's all the same axis but different players among it.

You have the police union who want us to eat every turd they present us with otherwise they won't do anything for us. Now the real estate developer / charter school group running attack ads again, proving that their last apology for doing the same was total BS.
