Return COVID?

Anonymous
For the past three days I feel like I have some kind of virus, but it hasn’t gotten worse. Headache and some achiness. Also low fever, but only in the evening. Swollen lymph nodes and throat. Day one I had chills. I had COVID a month ago and seemed to have made a full recovery. Is it back?

It’s winter. There are tons of viruses circulating right now, particularly flu. Only way to know is take a test.

Agreed.

When I read your thread title, OP, I thought, "yes, I would like to return covid to where ever it came from." Wouldn't we all.

Currently in the middle of yet of another random illness. I have been getting sick every week since early December. Covid was only one of them. When I got sick a week after recovering (and testing neg), I got swollen lymph nodes and fever again. Covid test still neg. I didn't get tested but it was likely viral strep.

I am so sick of this hamster wheel of illness! Every week it's something new and moderately annoying but not bad enough for a dr visit (thankfully).

Have you tested?

I had milder symptoms than you, but the “hasn’t gotten worse” should have been the clue for me. With any other respiratory infection, things progress in the first few days (better or worse)
I tested positive for covid, less than two months after the last infection.

I have the exact same thing since after Thanksgiving. Figured it was the kids bringing one thing after another home. It just cycles over and over with chills, headache, achy body or general cold symptoms. Then I’ll feel great for a week or two and it’s back for a few days. I know it’s coming in addition to symptoms because I’m wiped out by mid-afternoon and need a nap. I never nap and pretty much move all day long. Im hearing more and more people complaining about this kind of cycle like you are describing.

Similar here. A new ones every week or weeks and a half since Thanksgiving. Or maybe it's the same one. Covid positive about halfway through all that.

If you are worried about it, the only way to know is to take a test. No one here can answer that for you. There is a lot going around right now.
