Incomplete Information or Requests

| My boss seems to think I can read his mind or that I somehow have institutional knowledge that I just don’t - as I’ve only been working there for 3-4 months. I get requests and have no clue what he’s talking about but somehow I think I am supposed to guess what it is about. I don’t think that boss was ever too happy to hire me, but they forced him I believe. |

Why don't you ask him?
Also, what kinds of requests? I have seen a lot of people who don't understand that most organizations have policies and processes that can be followed. Have you looked in the files of the internal website to see? Have you asked other co-workers. Need more information to know if the boss is being reasonable or not. |

| Look around and find SOP's and operating guidelines. "Can you check my understanding on this? This is what I think this means..." If you can't any, ask if they exist. If they don't exist, you write them. |
