| title says it all. |
| Mmm. What kind of things? Meat? Dairy? |
| yes |
| I will do this in the 40s with veggies and shredded cheese and stuff like that but I would not do it with frozen things or meat or milk. |
|
yes you are fine
|
| Fresh Hamburger patties, already cooked salmon meal, cheese.. wdyt? |
| of course! |
| Yes as long as it’s not, like, seafood or ice cream |
| I would. Pack all the cold stuff together in one bag, with anything particularly sensitive in the middle, and wrap a second bag around it. |
| On an over cast day, yes. On a bright sunny clear day, no. |
| Yes. |
| All right, ladies. I will report back if we get food poisoning. I'm doing it for science. |
|
Absolutely, as long as it is not any meat or dairy, on a cold (think need to clean the windshield) day. I have cooked food for parties and kept them in the trunk overnight in the winter due to lack of space in the refrigerator and nothing happened to it. It tasted just fine 18 hours later.
On a hot day, probably not. |
| Today and the weekend it is chilly, so go for it OP |
You won’t get food poisoning, but your food might spoil faster. Just keep an eye on it. The average fridge is set at 40° so you aren’t that far off. |
