| Shhhhh. There is nothing to see here. If you don’t tell, then I won’t tell the insurance companies. |
| Sorry for the dumb question but what happens to the majority of the stolen cars? Are they dumped somewhere? Damaged? Stripped for parts? |
| The bike lane urbanists who run this town are secretly smiling. |
Used as transporation to commit other crimes. This way, getting the license plate of the getaway car is useless. |
A real effort post here. /s |
Stolen car? This is a carjacking:

They know. They always know. |
I don’t understand why people can’t simply de-escalate these situations and simply reason with these so-called car-jackers ? |
UUV - unauthorized use of vehicle |
Lol, watching their cash will always trump gaslighting activists. |
I think they are under pressure politically, a lot of incidents that seem to fall under carjacking are termed UUU. Important to look at both numbers, 7,000 cars were stolen in DC in 2023, with an additional almost 1,000 carjacked. DC is not that big. Imo stolen wheels and rims should also be a public number. More insurance costs and costs that hit working people and families. |
Quite a few are shipped out of the Port of Baltimore for resale in Africa. There was a recent news story on it that should come up in Google. That has been going on a long time, volume has increased. |
Correct: stolen cars are re-sold in Africa and the Middle East. |
