How do you know you're fulfilled and happy?

How do you define it?

I have everything I need and some of what I want, and my family is healthy and they also have everything they need and some of what they want.

Agree! And I would add, everyone is nice. Whenever I see someone being nasty, I assume they are unhappy.

I've only just recognized this in the last 2-3 years and it's proven true time and time again. The people who are consistently fairly nice and calm are generally speaking pretty happy. The people who are always nasty, belittling, saying stuff, or picking fights - whatever is going on is more about them than you. I mean not accounting for one off bad days where you just got a $200 parking ticket for something - but I mean each time you see/speak to someone.

All my wants are extremely superficial.
