Marcet Training in Spain

Does anyone have experience training at Marcet in Spain? This is not a tourist/experience camp so curious about the level of the coaches and type of training. Thank you!

Seems to be a good place for pro-bound players.

Anyone experienced it with a middle school aged child?

Real Madrid has better camps for middle school kids. Best ones her to go to Barcelona to train.

Hello Coach-

My son really enjoyed the tryout last night and meeting potential teammates and the coaching staff. I am sure you are super busy trying to figure out placements but my son does have an offer from another club that expires tomorrow. He would prefer to play for your club so any guidance you could give us about likelihood of being added to one of your rosters would be great.

Thanks again for your time.

Someone above mentioned Barcelona camps and how top players get invited to come to Barcelona.

My nephew's club in Florida has/had a partnership with a Prem League team, and several players were invited for training etc (flights, everything paid for).

The "invites" from summer camp -- these are offered to lots of kids and parents are on the hook for all expenses, including the training, correct?

They invite everyone. And it’s very expensive to participate the following year. It’s not indicative of anything relating to actual talent.

Yes, my son went for 3 weeks this summer. He love it, had so much fun and it’s not recreational camp like the clubs mentioned above. Real Madrid camp, Milan AC, atlético de Madrid, FC Barcelona are more recreational as their academic kids don’t mix up. Marcet academic kids live in campus till the end of June so if you are son is there before that he plays w high level players. Also Marcet get good players from all over the world.

Too bad you don’t speak Spanish. Anything. English speaking (ie targeted to stupid Americans) is a money grab.

Yes why go to Spain for a money grab when you can do it in NoVa?
