DH bored by extended affection

We've been together for 13 years and for a while were trudging along like friendly roommates with occasional sex. We both weren't happy with that, so we've been making more of an effort to be affectionate. I am finding that he seems to get bored by any kind of extended affection and wants to stop quickly - i.e. cuddling for one minute, kissing beyond pecks if sex isn't going to happen, hugs are only a few seconds. Am I expecting too much to want more than that? If not, how should I communicate that?

That’s seems pretty normal. My husband is like that but he does say sweet things to me.

I’m like your husband and my husband is like you. My compromise is a longer cuddle right when we go to bed. I hate long kisses.

DH and I have been married same length of time. I’m really only interested in affection if it’s leading to sex. I have zero interest in hanging around for long lingering kisses just because. I think I’m normal but who knows.
