Help! Need good movies/series recommendations

Anonymous
Our entire family is home with Covid, started with my D and now we all have it.
I have watched A LOT of TV over the years but would love any suggestions!

We love drama, CIA movies the most but am open. Thanks for any suggestions as I navigate being home with my family next 5 days.

I'm watching all the Oscar buzz movies that I can stream and/or buy on Amazon.

You like CIA movies -- have you watched the series "Homeland"?

Forget Homeland and watch Le Bureau if you like spy dramas. One of my all-time favorites.

Watch Slow Horses! Great spy show set in London. As a bonus, enjoy Mick Jaggar's theme song Strange Game.

This is one of my favorite shows of all times. Not sure I'd want to watch it with my kids or parents, though.

Where to stream Americans?

Do you like foreign shows? Little Women is a Kdrama with a mystery.

NP. Homeland season 1 is good, OP and fam might like it. It's meh after season 1. (Certain character should've died at the end of season 1 - when that character doesn't die, it sort of cheapens the rest of the story IMO.)

What ages kids? Also stuck home with covid.

We've leaned into comfort watching British baking show and all the Christmas stuff we never had time to watch (home alones, family switch, Noelle, Arthur Christmas, Christmas Chronicles, plus classics like White Christmas, but I have fairly immature 9 and 11 year olds).

I think we have a high tolerance for cheesy Christmas stuff and most people would be tired of it.

Slow Horses is SO GOOD. Three full seasons to enjoy - and it's def coming back for a 4th.

The intro song is so good that I never skip the credits. You know you love a show when you watch the credits every time.
