Looking for suggestions for good quality merino sweaters for DH. V neck and crewneck both acceptable. Issues we've had in the past from places like Brooks Brothers is that they wear out so quickly and holes appear, although that was a long time ago. Willing to invest a bit for quality and durability. Any ideas?
Somewhat related topic is if I see a sweater for $300 and find a similar second hand sweater of the same label on ebay for $50, how do I know it's the real deal and not someone playing swap the label? Ebay prices are so much cheaper that if all merinos are prone to wearing out eventually it might be worth it to hunt for bargains on eBay instead. |
