Ok I was there this summer, and it is IMPOSSIBLE to accidentally stray from the boardwalk. There all these signs with a vivid illustration of a child falling into the boiling water and descriptions of what will happen in many languages. WHY would you leave the boardwalk. How entitled. |

| Dayum! That's Darwin Awards kind of stupid |
. The thought crossed my mind… |
I didn’t realize he was 70! Obviously it makes sense given how long he’s been around but I think of him as like late 50s. Of course in my mind I’m still 22 and the 80s were like 15 years ago so….. |
| He seems like a really nice guy so this does make me worried he is out of it, unless there is something not reported here like he was trying to retrieve his wife’s dog or something. |
Mr. Steele! |
I don’t know. He’s still pretty active making movies. Not like Bruce Willis. Plus his wife turned him into a huge environmentalist. This whole thing is weird. |
| Rich people feel like they have no rules. We've seen this before. |
| I can rest easy now knowing there is no such thing as a perfect man. |
| I am astonished. He's a pretty great guy and generally not an entitled douche, comparatively. There are SO SO SO many dramatically illustrated signs at Mammoth Hot Springs. I can't believe he was so stupid. |
Rich people do illegal and unethical things all the time. Most get off with a warning because they're rich. They know this. |
| At least he wasn’t interacting with wildlife and causing them to come to grief. |
| Is Pierce going to feature on the Tourons of Yellowstone? |
| Oh yeah the internet sleuths got him on this one. Looks like, like all the other IG morons, he went off trail for a picture. |
