What kind of trainer/expert would we use? Recs in NoVa?

Long story short: the HS outdoor season is long and coach works them hard, 6 days a week most weeks. That's fine. However, in a college setting, there would be mandated strength training and stretching to go with this. In the offseason, when this is done, DC doesn't have near the aches/pains. But, in season, by the end of the season, all of the kids are sore, taped, injured, etc. While our HS PT/trainers are very nice and really good at their job, their ability is limited. I say that because they are dealing with a large public HS with multiple teams per season. And they are just overextended and the goal is basically to keep them pain free as possible to ride out the season.

For my own kid, DC struggled with a lower body overuse injury. There is a lot to that story but, in a nutshell, that was it. We did PT and are back and strength training and all good. Kid is performing exceptionally well in the offseason with travel and recruiting.

I'm looking forward to the next season. Is there someone we could work with leading up to the season, or even during (when we have time), to help prevent or to ease overuse injuries? A physical trainer (or do they only do post-injury)? Some other speciality I am not aware of? We are in NoVA (FCPS).
Thanks.

My DD does strength and conditioning year round, though less when she is in HS season. She also sees a chiropractor every other week who focuses on the full body and has a PT element built into each session.

Thx. Who do you see?

Our DD does performance training year round. We’ve noticed she is less injury prone than her teammates who have less evenly distributed muscle development. Her travel team requires regular performance training to keep the girls healthy.

She goes to redline but I know there a plenty of gyms that do the same thing depending on where you are located.
