Summer camps supportive of 2e autistic teens?

Any suggestions for good camps (mainstream or special needs) that are supportive of young (13 years old) autistic teens? DC is also gifted, if that is relevant.

We're interested in either day or sleepaway camps. Anything to do with nature, animals, or gaming would be of particular interest, but open to any type of camp.

6 Points Sci Tech Academy, a Jewish sleep away camp outside Boston, was excellent for my autistic teen. It has a video game design workshop. I can't say enough good things about the director.

How severe are the ASD needs? DS spent a month at Camp Kodiak last year and had an amazing experience. He is not officially on the spectrum, but is ADHD/high IQ and has social challenges. Would highly recommend for kids with lower ASD support needs.

OP here -

Thanks for these suggestions. I'd love to get some more ideas too (especially for day camps in the area), if anyone has any more suggestions.

You should reach out to your school district’s special education department. They have lists, usually.

My kid is slightly younger and super into fantasy but she did great at Camp Half Blood day camp in Rock Creek Park. It’s based on the Percy Jackson series. They have Camp Jupiter for older kids. It's not specifically for neurodiverse kids but the crossover between ASD kids and fantasy fans is strong.

We are also planning to send her to Camp Opequan. Quakers are very inclusive.
