ISO Apprenticeship program, non-driver 20 yr old

Anonymous
My son wants to explore apprenticeship. Been working fast food for 15 months. Is not college material. Has anxiety and bipolar which is under control with meds and therapy.

He’s organized, a visual learner. Not a morning person.

Any tips welcome!

Wut? At least for City Year, that’s not a requirement.

Is City Year for children? My son is almost 21. Also, if the website specifically says they are focused for lower income or marginalized students. Maybe I don’t understand the program.

I’d start with driver’s ed every morning to get him used to getting up early. Then try a trade school for whatever he’s good at.
