Rotisserie chicken and salami in a salad?

Anonymous
Would this be gross?

I have some leftover salami from the holiday charcuterie I’m trying to use up. I also have a rotisserie I need to eat tonight. Was thinking of making the salad the famous La Scala chopped salad the Kardashians eat (https://kathleenashmore.com/famous-la-scala-chopped-salad/) but would it be weird to mix in the chicken?

I might not serve it to others, but to eat myself? For sure.

How is this gross? It’s been refrigerated since I brought it home from the grocery store! It’s the stuff that didn’t make the board. You people are so strange.

Thanks everyone else. It’ll just be me and DH eating it, but wasn’t sure if the meats would conflict.

I mean I haven’t had them together, but I don’t see why not. More of an oil-vinegar dressing, perhaps with some marinated artichokes or something, too. But I’m a heretic.

I was going to say this, except I'd consider my own household to not be others. I would totally serve this to DH or my kids or Grandpa who is in town for a week.

Yes, salami is gross.

I love salami, but in a salad? I would make myself a lovely sandwich.

Sounds good to me, OP! I would add hot peppers and olives too!
