Does anyone know approximately how many questions you can get wrong on the IOWA and still score high enough for algebra? |
It's not a flat percentage, it is a percentile. They have to score better than 91% of the other test takers. |
Right but approximately how many wrong is that usually? Close to perfect? 1-2 wrong per section? I understand it can vary... |
I don't think anyone really knows. I would think that 3-4 wrong answers is safe.
|
3-4 wrong total? Or per section? |
You can request your child's full score report. Mine had 56/60, 98th percentile. |
They have to score at the 91st percentile or higher so 55/60 or better. |
Wow. ![]() |
That's interesting. Mine had 58/60 a few years ago, and was also 98th percentile. I can't swear to this now, but IIRC, DD's friend that had 10 wrong fell outside the cutoff; was 88 or 86th percentile. |
When is the IOWActest given this year in a FCPS? End of January? |
Wondering about this also |
It varies from school to school, but usually it is around January/February. |
Can someone share what IOWA test is and who takes it? I have a 5th grade AAP child and never heard her talk about this test. |
My child told me February for our school. |
6th grade AAP students take it in Jan/feb to determine if they’ll take algebra in 7th grade. |
