Have you done it? Was it honestly worth it? We have a 2019, owing 13K. The dealer will buy out the loan, and give "up to" $5K back towards a 2024. I am always such a skeptic when it comes to dealing with these offers. I just assume keep driving my 2019, which only has 39K miles.
VW Atlas btw. |
| You'd still have to pay money toward the more expensive car, and start a new loan, right? So its a win for the dealer. A new Atlas is around $44,000. So you'd need to pay or finance over $20K. They'd buy your car for $18K and sell for $24,000. They make $5-$6K on the used car, and the new financing you get. |
| They wouldn’t offer it to you if they didn’t make money on it. |
