If yes, what are the next steps after you got your positive blood test?

Congratulations to both of you!! So encouraging that the natural cycle worked! Do you have pregnancy symptoms?

I had beta at 14 dp5dt for natural cycle. Went back for a second beta two days later to check for doubling. Then scheduled u/s for the 6th week of pregnancy. U/S was good -- Not sure if I am going back for another u/s or not before being switched to OB/GYN. I need to call...

I'm a big fan of natural cycle IVF!

wow, I just found out my husband has issues, motility and morphology (not sure what it means) and our OB/gyn said we need stimulated IVF and gave us the name of 3 RE's in the area: Dr Gordon, Dr. Muascher, and Dr. Greenhouse. I know Dr. Gordon does natural cycle but do the others?

16:27- Dominion Fertility is the only clinic in the area that does natural cycle IVF. Dr. Gordon is my doctor there (I'm 15:29 poster). He's a very good doctor, and great guy/nice person as well.

Dr. Muasher does a mini-stim protocol that is similar to natural cycle. You do stims, but they are aiming to just get 2-5 eggs, rather than the high stims that will result in 10-15 eggs (or more).

Dr. Greenhouse (Shady Grove) does traditional IVF (not natural or mini-stims). As a clinic, they have disapproved of those practices because they don't believe that they are as effective. I was a patient of Dr. Greenhouse's several years ago (and had DC #1 with him). I think very highly of him, but I really wanted a more natural approach this time around, and was really pleased to see that Dominion offered natural cycle. If you end up going to SG, Dr. Greenhouse is definitely the guy to see.

16:27 poster, if you have no issues of your own, I would not jump into a stimulated IVF. Too hard on your body, too much stress and takes too much time. I would definitely recommend going the natural cycle IVF route if you only have the male factor. That's what we are doing. And yes, Dr. Gordon is a wonderful doctor and an amazing human being. I went to two other fertility clinics in the area and he is by far the most caring, compassionate and kind. And a great doctor too! Other staff at this clinic is great as well.

15:49 poster - congratulations!! So encouraging to hear stories of success. Did you do anything special after the transfer? Did you eliminate physical activity, went on a special diet? I am trying to get as much information as I can although I know the outcome is a toss of a coin at this point.

16:49 - Thanks! I didn't do anything really special after the transfer. I tried to stay in bed with my feet up for the rest of the day, but still got up briefly here and there. I limited physical activity to walking for a couple of days afterwards. No special diet, no accupuncture, etc. Good luck to you!
