How long should winter break last?

Everyone complains on MCPS page how it's short but many other Maryland counties only 6 days this year! Unlike the Northeast which also tends to also have shorter December breaks there is no February break to compensate.

What is the best winter break size?
A. Short version (6 or 7 weekdays)
B. Middle version (8 or 9 weekdays)
C. Two weeks (10 weekdays)

Next year winter breaks are at least December 23-January 1 so some people will consider it two weeks even if school is open on January 2 and 3.

We're in FCPS. We're very happy with the six day break. Daughter is SN and needs her routine. She is itching to get back.

I'd rather have a shorter Christmas break and a longer Summer break.

Winter break should have been a little longer but in place of Summer. 6 days was too short instead a full day closure or two should have been replaced with an early dismissal or two to keep PD development time but still have a little longer break.

I would like to have 2 weeks winter break, 1.5 week spring break and these days can be taken from summer break. I do not like very long summer break, kids get completely out of touch with studies.

I'd like to keep the short Xmas break, and then maybe a break at the end of Feb, and a break at the end of April/beginning of may.

Spring break is always at the worst time. Winter activities are done, but too cold for beach/spring/summer activities
