Ours is always tonight but I think we are in the minority. Anyone else?

Christmas Day.

On Christmas Day. Christmas Eve is when we go to church, so it’s a lighter/less formal meal. We have a fun breakfast after presents, then anyone is welcome to help themselves for lunch, then the big dinner on Christmas Day.

Day.

Usually Day. If I’d planned better I would’ve hosted Eve this year due to the holiday being on a Monday and I have to work Tuesday.

Neither! Very relaxed both days. Love it.

Eve: lots of hors d’oeuvres
Day: Thanksgiving part 2

We repeat the hors d’oeuvres on New Year’s Eve but don’t have anything special New Years Day

Christmas eve is the fancy meal. Christmas morning is a relaxed brunch.

Eve, then we do leftovers and/or Chinese on Christmas Day

Christmas Day is our ‘big’ meal. However, for years Christmas Eve was a special meal, too. We would have my grandmothers homemade soup and shrimp cocktail, which she loved. I don’t recall many Christmas Day meals (turkey, an exact repeat of thanksgiving), but have great memories of Christmas Eve dinners.

So like a regular Sunday except some Christmas music thrown in?

Christmas Day. But we've done it on Christmas Eve at times too.

Eve so that the downstairs staff can have the day off.
