| On Christmas Day. Christmas Eve is when we go to church, so it’s a lighter/less formal meal. We have a fun breakfast after presents, then anyone is welcome to help themselves for lunch, then the big dinner on Christmas Day. |

| Christmas Day is our ‘big’ meal. However, for years Christmas Eve was a special meal, too. We would have my grandmothers homemade soup and shrimp cocktail, which she loved. I don’t recall many Christmas Day meals (turkey, an exact repeat of thanksgiving), but have great memories of Christmas Eve dinners. |
