Friend wants husband

Anonymous
She is not a friend, but she is after friend's husband. She thinks when he is old and senile, she can take his money. Who is wrong? It is her third marriage, and all she sees is money. Should I let it go because she is old and desperate? She has no marketable skills, no hobbies, nothing to add to the relationship. Is botox considered marketable skills? That husband might like that she does not know the truth, so he can start new - until it is old (then she might just kill him, and no one would ask questions). I don't trust either of them, but maybe they deserve each other?

Um, stay out of it? Realistically, what could you even do?

She thinks I will help.

And you would even consider getting involved in something like this, let alone “helping?” You need better friends.

Sadly this is not uncommon. It is more frown upon when it's a man doing it. Some women openly engage in this vile practice.

I can’t even follow this. But why do you hang out with creeps?

How would you help exactly

Yeah. Probably. This is a tale as old as time, and old rich men are onto it and make judgment calls with regard to what they are getting out of it. I assume you are joking with the "she might just kill him" stuff.

So he thinks he can fool her? She was fooled by last husband - she thought it was his money, it is the ex wifes money - same as here.

Well, sounds like people are being ridiculous and stupid all around.

I have always felt sorry for these women who never figure out that it is so much easier to just make your own money.

I’m so confused. She wants her friend’s husband? Or she is in her third marriage to her friend’s husband…or WTF? None of this makes sense.

But she won't make her own money. I love my friend, but she is very lazy and extremely uninteresting. She is very plain looking, but she thinks that she is very good looking. She marries whoever chases her.
