Please tell me about a merger you have been through and survived with a positive outcome. The one that I have been involved with for the past year has not gone smoothly to say the least--I have been through three bosses (first boss "retired" early, second was fired, and the third is from the merged company), several peers have found new jobs, and there are clearly preferences for merged company people and new hires over those who have been with the company for many years. Is it possible to develop relationships with the merged company people and be in the "in crowd" eventually?
