Bourbon is so hard to find the past few years. What are some good alternative liquors to sip on straight or with ice (no mixers)? Not Scotch, I'm well-versed in that.
Curious about tequila, rum, or things I haven't thought of. Specific brands would be helpful - this is for a gift. Thanks! |
Rye |
Aged rims are really good. |
Bourbon is not hard to find! I buy buffalo trace at costco and its *chefs kiss* |
Brandy or cognac |
It's always great to go local. How about some Pikesville whiskey |
Mescal |
There's no shortage of bourbon that I know of. Where did you encounter this? They even make it in Maryland, in Fredrerick. |
Irish whiskey
Yellow Spot and Green Spot are nice sippers. |
Brandies - look for a VSOP Cognac or an Armagnac. Ideally you'd drink it neat from a snifter. |
LAX in Beltsville has an amazing bourbon selection. What are you looking for that you can't find? |
Rum or Mezcal |
Agree about the lack of shortage. My DH loves Woodford Reserve and I wish it were harder to find. |
Mezcal! |
