They signed up all these clubs to wear the same glorified t-shirts, they can't get orders out on time, and parents have to pay ridiculous shipping fees to replace the stuff that falls apart. Am I missing anything here? Is the money so much better that it's worth it for clubs to stick with them? |
My guess is yes. Clubs are contractually obligated to do so. They cut long-term deals for exclusivity and also ponied up to get that long-term exclusivity. |
| Adidas is hardly better. Every item fits differently (different jerseys fit differently) and the fits change year to year. And because everything is custom screened, nothing is returnable. |
