Healthy muffin recipe?

Anyone know a good, but also reasonably healthy, muffin recipe? Specifically looking for one that is new braces wearer-friendly (so no nut pieces or dried fruits).

Thanks!

Healthy in terms of what?

You can look for muffin recipes using Kodiak pancake mix. They also sell those microwave muffin cups.

Depends on how you define "healthy" but I love these. They are delicious for several days if you make them with oil and not butter. I skip the raisins. https://smittenkitchen.com/2007/02/sour-cream-bran-muffins/

Thanks everyone! These are great!

(Not looking for low cal, just not packed with sugar and without any nutrients)

My teens really like protein muffins (with protein powder - 20g protein/muffin)

NP. Found these suggested on DCUM a few years ago, they’re pretty tasty. I substitute some things but it’s a good baseline recipe.

This is my kids favorite muffin recipe. We add mini-chocolate chips and only add nuts on top of half of them, you could leave out all together.

We usually use eggs instead of making them vegan but have done them vegan for friends and they work well. I like the almond flour addition for some extra protein that isn’t noticeable and overall lower sugar.

These are good. I might add some grated carrot next time. https://sallysbakingaddiction.com/healthy-apple-muffins/#tasty-recipes-70936
