Sound of rattling HVAC is distracting -suggestions needed

I have a new office and changing offices is not an option. The building has been renovated but sadly the ducts have not been well sound-proofed and there are both deep and tinny rattling noises emitting from the ceiling non-stop.
It is so loud, others say they can hear it through my noise-cancelling headphones. Is there a particular brand of active noise-cancelling headphones anyone can recommend? I can’t play music while I’m on a Teams meeting. Is there an app I can use to mute or at least deaden the high-pitched whirring sounds? What is my best option? Brown noise sound machine? Acoustic sound panels on the ceiling and walls? |
