If your job is to help actors on a show with their dialect -- say they need to speak as if they are from London, Texas, or Boston, or NY or whatever (France, Germany, etc would be an accent, not a dialect) -- you are a dialect coach, not a consultant. |
The issue/job is more nuanced than that, but the guy I emailed got my point, and that's what matters. |
