Springfield in it's entirely stinks like weed right now!

Wtf is going on in Springfield today just drove at least 10 miles around Springfield and it all stinks of very strong weed. Are police burning it? Is there a smoke out? Like what's going on. Usually you smell it here and there all around our area but this is crazy intense and for a long way. Wtf. Virginia is nasty!!!

Unfortunately, this is common in VA. If you were driving behind a car with someone smoking it, then it can feel like it's following you around.

With marijuana being legalized, a lot of places in the DMV smell like weed regularly now. Welcome to the new normal.

+1 Yep. The smell got into her car, she didn't roll the windows down to air it out and probably made it worse by turning the air to recirculate.

I used to believe weed should be legal but I’ve revised my opinion. It’s foul to smell it everywhere. I wish it were only legal in your home or something. Ugh. Yuck. Weed smell is nasty.

We are visiting NYC, and it smells a 1,000 times better than DC. Never thought I'd say that. Haven't seen a rat either.

It is illegal in DC to smoke it in public places. But we don't enforce laws in DC anymore.

And, same, I supported legalization. But I did not realize that meant that anything would go and that the entire city would smell like pot.
