New to North Arlington. Is there any good takeout/restaurants?

So far, it’s like a food wasteland. Not seeming too promising. Help.

Go to McLean. Much better good.

Take out - Arlington kabob. They have a few tables, but do a lot of take out.

El pollo Rico (Peruvian chicken - not a lot of options but far the best of the many peruvian chicken restaurants) - Very casual, almost always a line but moves fast.

If you are looking for ambiance (but pricey) - SER.

Welcome to suburban hell. So glad we got out. But, hey, at least you’ve saved your white kids from the brown ones.

There are 281 restaurants on the list immediately below, few of them chains.

Enjoy.

If you have specific questions about neighborhood, food type, etc., please ask.

(This list from the County identifies 613 restaurants, although a number of them probably are chains. That would put it at among the most restaurants per capita in the country.)

Ted’s Bulletin is Ballston
Liberty Tavern is in Clarendon
Busboys and Poets in Shirlington (S. Arlington)
And yes, RPM is Uber eats from DC

Feel better about yourself? Someone innocently asks about restaurants and this is your response? Such an a hole.

I lived there for 10 years, even in Clarendon. It is a total food wasteland and it is completely lacking in good takeout.

Some people like that disgusting Pupatella place.
