Aftercare & extracurriculars at Carderock Springs?

| I'm considering moving to the Carderock district for next year and am wondering what sorts of on-site afterschool activities would be available. (Kid will be in 2nd grade.) Currently we're in D.C. and there is terrific aftercare and a few fun classes on site, so the transition is seamless and we just pick him up at 5:30ish. Not sure if things work the same way in the suburbs. |

I'm not at that school, but I know they use Kids After Hours (KAH) for aftercare. KAH is wonderful - fun for kids and responsive/flexible for parents. There are a lot of threads on this forum about KAH, if you want to search.
