Stonegate Elementary school? any info?

esp. on neighborhood and middle school....I love the neighborhood and the pool and the school in walking distance, but not so sure about the MS or the high school (Blake?)....would love info!

I live in the Stonegate district and have heart great things about the elementary school. My kids are not in school yet, so I don't have personal experience.

I live in 20906 and our neighborhood feeds into Stonegate. All of the parents I have talked to are very happy with the school. There are several teachers in our neighborhood (that even teach at other MOCO schools) that really like the school.

which is your neighborhood? does it have a better MS? my one concern with Stonegate is the middleschool if you live in thta neighborhood....I heard the other neighborhoods go closer to Olney for MS? thanks for any info!

Stonegate ES feeds two middle schools. If you live in the Stonegate or Naples Manor neighborhoods, the MS is White Oak. In the past, it didn't have such a great reputation, but a few years back, the principal was replaced and since that time, the reputation has improved dramatically. As a parent of a WOMS kid, I have to say I'm pleased with it and that all of my WOMS parent friends are as well.

I live in Longmead Crossing. It is a lovely mix of single family and townhouses. Our Middle school is Farquhar (Olney) which I heard is good. Blake is the high school. The other (older) half of Longmead crossing goes to other schools.
