Does anyone know the acceptance rate for early decision if a student is okay doing a Feb start? I know ED acceptance rate is around 40%, but I assume Feb starts have a higher acceptance rate. Middlebury is a definite reach for my kid, but not sure if applying ED Feb makes sense.

Yes, I think it helps, but I don't know the numbers.

Also, those winter term kids def bond. It's not a bad way to go at all

you remove the athletes from the equation, so the acceptance rate is more real for the late start ED applicant. Heard it hovers around 50% from a counselor who has had success with this route. One of the true remaining, legit, and above board side doors out there
