The color does nothing for her, the styling of her hair and makeup is incredibly heavy and does not go with the dress at all (how can you tell if she is "glowing" when she's wearing so much foundation??), the wrap thing is super fussy.
The dress itself -- the sheer illusion fabric at the v in front is distracting and winds up cutting her boobs at a weird angle, something that is really highlighted because she is obviously freezing and her nipples are on high alert. The length is weird and the fabric has not traveled great. I love satin cut on the bias but what the heck is going on with the weird stiff hem which ruins the natural flow the a dress like this usually has? Plus it cuts her at a weird and unflattering spot on her ankle which I'd get if her shoes were amazing but they are the most boring possible choice of shoes so who cares.
Louis Vuitton has been a mess in recent years and I think Stone's red carpet style has really suffered because she's a brand ambassador and they really do not play to her strengths at all.
Also, she's tight-lipped smiling through this whole clip and looks annoyed. Again, she's pretty and I like her personality but this is such a weird clip to offer as proof she's come into her own. This just looks like "cold and uncomfortable actress wears contractually obligated outfit to boring press event."
I hear you but the vibe I get is that she's relaxed, natural and comfortable in her own skin. That radiates through. The newer Vuitton look is trending natural and minimal (like the dress.)
