| Looking to buy for my husband for date night. His culinary tastes are pretty basic so nothing too spicy/ethnic but not a chain or a touristy place but a bit more upscale than the routine restaurant. |
| Just go with a restaurant group. Think Food Group or Knightsbridge are always good bets |
| Neighborhood restaurant group is another good option. |
| Great American Restaurants |
| The Smith is really nice for simple American food |

That's a really weird gift for a spouse.
Why not something just for him? Or tickets to a show/game. You will go on date nights with or without a gift card. |
I agree. Why not just take him out OP? |
|
Um, if he’s going on the date night with you, why do you need a gift card?
What about one of the Jose Andres restaurants? Different from what most people would cook themselves at home — but not too challenging for basic eaters. Or what about Joy in Chevy Chase? (They’re justly proud of the short rib.) https://static1.squarespace.com/static/62e03f7c42103f2e36a33153/t/651b9171263ebd21f875b4f8/1696305522743/DINNER+MENU+08.03.23.pdf |

I am really confused as to why you would buy a gift card for this.
At any rate Great American Restaurants. |
