Telling an unhappily single friend that you’re having a child

Second child too. Friend has been upset for a while that she’s in her mid 30s and in a relationship that hasn’t progressed to marriage. She really wants kids. I am very hesitant about telling her I’m pregnant for this reason and have put it off till 7 months now (we live in different states and see each other once every other year tops, but stay in touch by text and were very close growing up).

Do I just tell her now, when the baby is born or sometime else? Was hoping she would be engaged by the end of year and would have told her after but it looks unlikely

Her latest texts have been about how sad 2023 has been for her so it feels weird to tell her now. She went radio silent for a few months and just resurfaced so I don’t think she’s having a great time

Is she on social media? Are you on social media? If no to either then no reason to tell her
