CFPB Interviews?

Any word on whether CFPB has begun interviewing for the latest batch of attorney positions that were advertised?

I applied and haven't heard anything. Taking that as a bad sign.

Given the lack of replies, I think it's too early to draw conclusions. Maybe they are waiting for the new year to do interviews.

I am long gone from CFPB, but they used to be painfully slow. My recollection is that you may not hear anything for 3 months.

I was hired there for non-legal position; they didn't reach out for almost seven months after app.

I scoured my old emails, and it was 4.5 months from application submission to email asking for interview times. This was for an attorney position.

They are under a CR hiring maybe frozen or paused

CFPB enforcement did a teams event for prospective hires and one of the audience members asked about where they are in the interview stages. They haven't finished reviewing the applications from November.

Was this invite-only for people who had applied or a general informational panel? Are they going to open up another round of applications?

You can register for the informational sessions on LinkedIn. They’re for all Enforcement positions, not just attorneys.
