My son's Adidas backpack has two broken zippers and was new for this school year.
I was going to purchase a LL Bean bag as I thought they were guaranteed quality, but the recent reviews on the large version say the zippers break easily. Can anyone recommend a big backpack (needs to fit laptop, school stuff, lunch box, water bottle, basketball shoes/clothes etc) for a high school boy that will last? |
Fjallraven Skype 28 is what my kid has. It fits everything except his b-ball shoes, which seem massive. He usually just knots those together and carries them by the laces or tossed them in a string bag or small handled gym bag. They tend to get stinky anyway, so probably good that they can dry out and that they’re not in with his schoolwork and lunch ![]() |
LL Bean.
Do a search, OP, there are a couple of recent threads with a lot of suggestions. |

High sierra. We’ve had 2 backpacks for all kinds of travel for 6 years, 2 wheeled one for school for nearly 3 years, and just got one more for commute to work. This brand is under samsonite and very sturdy, and we like that it has a lot of compartments. |
